THE WRAP IN WOOL STORY

Wrap in Wool began in 2017, when Indra, was knitting so many socks that my closest people started to protest — enough was enough. At the time, I knew very little about yarns and needles and knitted with whatever was available.

Over the years, my curiosity grew. I wanted to knit with better quality yarn, understand materials, tools, and techniques, and create with intention. I started researching, experimenting, attending international craft fairs, and learning professionally. While I also studied machine knitting, hand knitting has always remained my greatest passion and meditation.

The idea of my own yarn shop lived as a dream for a long time. In 2021, inspired by the creativity of Latvian knitters and crocheters, that dream became reality with the launch of the Wrap in Wool online store.

Wrap in Wool offers only carefully tested, high-quality yarns — because time is too valuable for poor materials. Our journey began with bringing the German brand Lamana to Latvia, and we continue to offer yarns we truly love and trust.

In 2023, the story gained a new chapter.
I met Anete, founder of Radåm Magazine and Radītprieks. Sharing the same values and love for craftsmanship, we joined forces to offer the best yarn available in Latvia. 

Over time, Anete took over Wrap in Wool, carrying the brand forward with great care, vision, and deep respect for its original spirit.

Today, Wrap in Wool stands for quality, experience, collaboration, and the joy of creating. Our carefully curated yarns from Latvia are now enjoyed by customers all over the world.
